Cherokee Nation Child Development Center
Infant & Toddler Immersion Class
Cherokee Nation, Oklahoma

The Cherokee Nation Child Development Center opened an Infant/Toddler Immersion class approximately 6 years ago. This program is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children and serves children ages 6 weeks through the age of 2.  Children are immersed in the language from birth and transition at age 3 to the Cherokee Nation Immersion School where they will continue with the language. This program has proven to be a success at revitalizing the Cherokee language!
